In just four weeks the new Swimming Pool Compliance NSW regime of pool barrier compliance inspections begins. From 29th April all properties that are to be sold or leased will require pool inspections by a pool safety inspector and the appropriate certificate attached to the sale contract or lease.

The Government has given us a new date and postponed the implementation of the SWIMMING POOL CERTIFICATION DEADLINE TO April 29, 2016.  This gives us another 12 months to “get things in order” and to ensure your pool is compliant before your property is sold or leased.

All properties with swimming pools will require a certificate of compliance before they can be leased or sold.  The new regulations come into effect of 29th April 2016.
